Delighted to serve.. in India!

I am delighted to report that God told me last October to go to India with EMI and He has faithfully opened the door for me to do so! Last month I was accepted as a summer intern with Engineering Ministries International to serve in Hyderabad, India. I have two dear friends who have served with this incredible ministry and I cannot wait to follow their example and take my architecture skills to people who desperately need them.

God knows that I have long awaited an opportunity like this! I am sincerely thrilled to use what I have learned about architecture to serve the poor and partner with an organization like EMI, which exists to serve the physical needs of the poor and spread the good news of Christ. This internship will provide invaluable professional experience and will hopefully offer me insight into my post-graduation plans.

I will be raising $3300 for the trip and would greatly appreciate your support - both in prayer
and financially! Please specifically pray that God would:
-Protect my team from physical harm
-Help us overcome language barriers
-Provide financially for me to go to India
-Give me confidence in my ability to contribute to the design work
-Use this experience to help reveal His will for me after I graduate in May of 2012
